The October Edit

It’s been a minute since our last Monthly Edit, and somehow we’re already in October.
The last few months have been full—in the studio, in life, and everywhere in between. We have projects under construction, new ones beginning to take shape, and what feels like a never-ending rotation of samples, site visits, drawings, and sourcing tabs open on my computer.
This time of year always makes me want things to feel a little warmer and more layered. Not necessarily pumpkins and traditional fall colors, especially when it’s still very much summer outside in Miami, but deeper woods, beautiful stone, aged metals, soft lighting, and spaces that feel collected over time.
I’ve also found myself craving a little more slowness outside of work lately. Cozy nights at home, a good comfort show, and time with Jettie.

So after a little break, The Monthly Edit is back. A mix of what’s inspiring me, what’s happening around the studio, and a few things I’m loving lately.
Life Lately, The things currently filling my camera roll, playlists, closet, and time outside the studio...
On Repeat... Ella Langley. Pretty much the soundtrack lately. If there’s music playing in the studio, there’s a very good chance it’s her.
Current Binge... Hart of Dixie. Very late to this one, but all I need is a cozy small town and an easy storyline to become completely invested. Already concerned about what I’m going to watch when it’s over.
What I'm making... Homemade sourdough. I’ve officially entered my sourdough era and, unfortunately for everyone who had to hear about sourdough for the last five years, I get it now.
Current Color Crush... Chocolate brown. Interiors, clothes, accessories... I can't seem to get enough of it lately.
In my closet... Ballet flats. Fully on board with them being back, especially with jeans and an easy top.
A little home detail... Extra-long taper candles. I love the height they add to a table or console, especially when they're mixed in at different heights. Simple, but so pretty.
Around the studio... My camera roll lately is basically a running project diary—construction progress, stone slabs, tile samples, floor plans, site visits, and approximately 500 screenshots I swear I’ll need later. A few projects are finally reaching the point where the details we’ve been working on for months are becoming real, and that part never gets old.
xx,

Have a project in mind?
We’re taking on a select number of projects through the end of the year. If you’ve been thinking about renovating, furnishing, or reimagining your space, I’d love to hear what you have in mind.
